The scheduled Kata course was fairly well attended covering Nage No Kata and Katame No Kata in preparation for the National Grading Sunday11th October2009 at Mersea Island Judo Club.
It is important for any Senior Judoka wishing to progress from Green Lower Brown to Green Higher Brown you must know Katame no Kata and the first 3-sets of Nage no Kata. This also applies to Junior Judoka wishing to progress to Green belt Brown Mons.
For Brown to Black belt or Black Mons, the full 5-sets of Nage no Kata must be performed (See Syllabus 2009)
